Trouble on an Accessory
Step 7.
Lift the PFTT handset and try to make an outside call.
IF
The call is completed normally,
The call cannot be completed on
one outside line,
The call cannot be completed on
any outside line,
THEN
Trouble found. It is either in
your Type III Cartridge or in the
control unit Type III Cartridge
receptacle.
Return the modular
line cords to their original posi-
tions. Reconnect the control unit
power cord to the ac outlet. Then
read the section on Maintenance
Exchange Procedures at the end of
this manual.
Repeat from Step 6 for another
outside line.
Return the modular line cord and
PFTT line cord to their original
positions. Go on to Step 8.
Step 8.
Unplug the cord of the PFTT from the base of the telephone (see Fig-
ure 42).
