9.3 The System LED light pattern
In the “SD/Flash” mode, the System LED light patterns
represent the following status:

Steadily on
in green
color
The scanner is ready for use.
Blinks in
green color
continuously
Initializing system and memory
card. Please wait until the
initialization process is complete
before using the scanner.
Busy scanning and storing image
files. Please wait until the process is
complete before scanning another
original.
2 Blinks in
red color
Paper jam. Remove the paper gently
from the feeding slot.
3 Blinks in
red color
No SD card or USB flash drive in
“SD/Flash” mode.
Wrong SD card.
No USB cable in “PC” mode.
4 Blinks in
red color
Calibration failed. Error indication only.
5 Blinks in
red color
Battery power is too low to perform a
scan.
No light The scanner is powered off.
