Setupaholstersensorforyourbodyworncamera
Toenableunholsterdetection:
1.Makesuretheholstersensorisdisconnectedfromitspowersupply.
2.GotoUsersandselecttheuserthatyouwanttopairtheholstersensorwith.
3.Click
topairnewequipment.
4.ClickPair(Holstersensor).
5.Dockthecamera(dooneofthefollowing,basedoncameraassignmentmethod):
-Fixedcameraassignment:Dockthecameraassignedtothebodywornuserthatyouwanttopairtheholster
sensorwith.
-Self-assigncameraassignment:Makesureacameraisdocked.
6.Enterthe6digitserialnumberfoundontheholstersensor.
7.Undockthecamera(dooneofthefollowing,basedoncameraassignmentmethod):
-Fixedcameraassignment:Undockthecameraandwaitforittostart.OperationstatusLEDlightsupgreen.
-Self-assigncameraassignment:Self-assignacamera,undockit,andwaitforittostart.Operationstatus
LEDlightsupgreen.
8.Connectpowersupplytotheholstersensor.
9.ThewirelessconnectivitystatusLEDonthecamerapulsesyellowtoshowthatthepairingstarted.Waitforthewireless
connectivitystatusLEDonthecameratolightupgreen,whichindicatesasuccessfulpairing(cantakeupto20seconds).
ThewirelessconnectivitystatusLEDlightsupredifthepairingfailed.
10.Disconnectpowerfromtheholstersensor.
11.Installtheholstersensorandunholstertomakesurethepairingwassuccessful.TherecordingLEDonthecamera
shouldlightupred.
12.Dockthecamera.
Aftercompletingthepairing,checkthepairingstatusfortheholstersensorunderPairedequipment.Greenstatusshowsthatthe
pairingisregisteredinthebodywornsystem.
Toconnectthecameratoaholstersensorinthedailyuse,undockthecameraandmakesurethatitisintheholstersensor’srange
within10minutesafterundocking.Undernormalcircumstancestherangeis5–10m(16–33ft.).
Recordlocationdata
YoucanturnonLocationdatatorecordthegeographicalpositionofthecamera.IfthecamerahasGPSsignal,itsavesitsposition
whenandwherearecordingisstartedandstopped.Thismeansthatthecameracansaveuptotwopositionsforeachrecording.This
locationdataistransferredtothecontentdestinationandisusefulwhenmanagingrecordingsandbuildingcases.
