9.8 Windshield Washer and Fluid Reservoir
To operate the windshield washer, pull the control lever toward the driver.
Check the washer reservoir fluid level located behind the access door on the passenger side
panel. When the level is low, open the passenger side access panel, remove the reservoir cap,
place a funnel in the opening, and add windshield washer fluid rated for -2F (-C).
9.9 Visibility
Adjust Mirrors for maximum visibility. Mirrors can be folded all the way in to navigate through
narrow passages.
A Backup Camera provides visibility behind the vehicle. The backup camera feeds into the
Infotainment System in the middle of the Center Console. The backup camera acvates when the
key switch is set to the « REVERSE » posion.
9.10 Pedestrian Warning System
The Pedestrian Warning System sounds like a running fan, and is acve in « FORWARD » speeds
up to 18.6 mph / 29.9 km/h. It is acve at all speeds when reversing, along with the “backup
beeping” alert. These sounds are normal and are safety features required on electric vehicles by
the United States Naonal Highway Traffic Safety Administraon (NHTSA).
9.11 Gear Selector
The key switch is the gear selector. The current
gear is also displayed on the Driver Display, which
is the top panel of the Center Console.
Four posions are possible:
« O - OFF » posion; vehicle power is OFF.
« R » posion: « REVERSE » the vehicle will
move backward.
« ON - N » posion: « NEUTRAL the power
system is on, but the drive train is not
acve.
« F » posion: « FORWARD » The vehicle will move forward.
