12 BATTERY CHARGING
Always follow these precauons when charging:
• Posion the vehicle on a level surface.
• Make sure the charging area is well venlated.
• Turn the key switch « OFF » and remove the key.
• Inspect the cable for cracks, loose connecons, and frayed wiring.
NEVER use a damaged extension cord.
Extension cords must be rated for 20A minimum.
Always connect the charging cable to the vehicle’s charge receptacle first,
then plug the cable into a wall receptacle outlet.
