11.1 Baery Handling Precauons
Do not work in or near the baery compartment or on any other electrical
component of the vehicle while charging the baeries.
Only Ayro Authorized Service Representaves should perform any baery
maintenance.
Emergency Responders: To disconnect the vehicle's electrical system,
always unplug the Manual Service Disconnect on the main baery first,
then disconnect any electrical accessory connecons, then disconnect the
negave cable from the 12-volt baery (if equipped), then disconnect the
negave terminal from the main baery pack.
Please note the following regarding the Vanish charging maintenance:
The baeries in your Vanish will not accept a charge unless internal baery temperatures are at
or above 32 deg F (0 deg C).
When the ambient temperature is at or below 32 deg F (0 deg C), the vehicle must be moved
to a locaon where the baery pack can warm up to 32 deg F (0 deg C) or higher to receive a
charge.
At temperatures below freezing, the baeries should always be kept at a
minimum of 20% state of charge. It is recommended to keep the charger
connected in low temperatures above 32 deg F (0 deg C) to maintain the
charge.
HIGH VOLTAGE will be present at the baery terminals and contactors.
High baery voltage is always present.
Do not touch the baery terminals.
NEVER use the vehicle chassis or body as a ground connecon.
