13.3 Driving in Reverse
Follow these precauons when operang in reverse:
Always check for obstacles or people behind the vehicle. Always inspect le and
right fields of vision before backing. Use the mirrors and the backup camera to
check that there are no people or obstacles behind the vehicle.
Avoid backing downhill.
Back slowly.
Apply the brakes lightly for stopping.
Avoid turning at sharp angles.
NEVER accelerate suddenly.
13.4 Driving on Slippery Surfaces
Skidding or sliding can cause loss of control or overturn (if res regain tracon unexpectedly).
When operang on slippery surfaces, reduce speed and use extra cauon to reduce the
chance of skidding or sliding out of control.
Do not operate on excessively slippery surfaces.
Whenever driving on slippery surfaces such as wet or icy pavement or loose gravel, follow
these precauons:

Turn in direcon of skid
Do not operate on excessively slippery surfaces.
Slow down before driving onto a slippery surface.
Avoid quick, sharp turns, which can cause skids.
