5.2 Subsequent hand-held transmitter pairing
The following prerequisites apply for the subsequent pairing of a
hand-held transmitter to a system:
- At least one hand-held transmitter is already paired with
this system.
- A foot control electronic is connected to the eBC
Controller 2.0 of the system.
- The hand-held transmitter has not been paired with
another system.
- Hand-held transmitter is located in the reduced near field.
- No other hand-held transmitter has been placed in a
docking station that is coupled with the system.
The system is built into the truck:
Press “Truck” pushbutton 2 x.
After approx. 3 s the red LED under the truck symbol blinks.
Pairing successful: The green LED illuminates and the red
LED below the truck symbol flashes.
The system is built into the trailer:
Press “Trailer” pushbutton 2 x.
After approx. 3 s the red LED under the trailer symbol blinks.
Pairing successful: The green LED illuminates and the red
LED below the trailer symbol flashes.
After successful pairing between hand-held transmitter and
system, the PUK must be entered. The PUK is noted on the
security code form.
If no individual PUK is stored in the configuration of the eBC
Controller, the factory standard PUK is valid.
Standard PUK: 224
The PUK has a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 8 digits and
consists of the numbers 1 - 4. The digits are entered digit by digit
according to the key assignment with the hand-held transmitter.
LED illuminates red: Digit/figure entered.
LED blinks red: This digit/figure must be entered next.
PUK entry correct:
The green LED and red LED under the truck or trailer symbol
illuminate.
If the pairing is successful, the hand-held transmitter is logged in
to the system and the control voltage of the Cargolift is switched
on.
PUK entry incorrect:
If the wrong digit has been entered in one location, the PUK entry
is reset when the eighth digit is entered. Entry is cancelled if the
PUK has not been successfully entered within 1 minute.
PUK entry can be reset at any time by pressing the function
key.
Cancel PUK entry:
PUK entry is cancelled if no pushbutton is pressed for approx.
20s or by pressing the stop pushbutton.
