6.1.2 Manual pairing with the Bär Control EVO / Control Box 2.0 - trailer
The following prerequisites apply for pairing two systems using
Bär Control EVO / Control Box:
- One system is on the truck and the other on the trailer,
and the configuration corresponds to this.
- Both systems have the same PUK fleet.
- A Bär Control EVO or a Control Box 2.0 is mounted on
the Cargolift of the truck and trailer.
- The control voltage is switched on at both Cargolifts.
Truck
Bär Control EVO options:
Push the left vertically and horizontally operating joystick
2 x upwards.
Control box option 2.0:
Push the left lever switch 2 x upwards.
Trailer
Repeat the action step on the Cargolift of the trailer within
1 minute.
If pairing of the two systems is successful:
An acoustic signal sounds from both eBC Controllers.
The successful pairing of the two systems means that they are
connected to each other. The hand-held transmitter can also be
logged in to the trailer even if it is inserted in the docking station.
In addition, the status messages of the trailer are now also output
on the hand-held transmitter if it is located in the docking station.
If the system on the trailer is paired with the system on
the truck, operation of the Cargolift on the truck from the
cabin is deactivated. This prevents incorrect operation,
whereby the Cargolift on the truck could damage the
trailer.
As long as the pairing of the two systems has not been
successfully completed, the process can be cancelled.
The process can be cancelled on the truck or trailer.
Cancelling the process:
Bär Control EVO options:
Push the left vertically and horizontally operating joystick
down for at least 2 seconds.
Control box option 2.0:
Press the left lever switch down for at least 2 seconds.
