10 System reset
A system reset is available so that functions such as "Initial hand-held transmitter pairing” are available again
or in order to reset a system to the delivery condition in the event of a malfunction. This includes a reset of the
entire system with which all initial functions are available again, and a reset of the hand-held transmitter.
10.1 Reset of the Bär SmartControl 2.0 system
All settings and the addresses of the paired system components are stored in the memory of the eBC Controller
Pro. To reset the entire Bär SmartControl 2.0 system, the corresponding memory area in the eBC Controller
Pro must be erased. In order to do this, a configuration file in which the LiftoptionsBit114 “Opt. SmCo2 Reset”
is set is transferred to the eBC Controller Pro and a hard reset is carried out.
The system is not reset at the software side until the hard reset of the eBC Controller Pro takes place!
This has the following effects:
- All previous pairings are deleted
- The Initial hand-held transmitter pairing function becomes available again
- All changes made using the Bär CargoCheck software are reset to the factory settings
10.2 Resetting of the hand-held transmitter
The hand-held transmitter can be completely reset using the following procedure.
