6.2 Dynamic pairing – trailer
If the system on the truck and the system on the trailer have the dynamic pairing option, the truck and trailer
are automatically paired as soon as the plug connections are connected. If the pairing of the two systems is
successful, this is confirmed by an acoustic signal on both eBC Controller Pros.
With this option, two proximity switches are mounted on a plug connection between the truck and trailer,
which detect whether the trailer is attached or not. All of the required parts are included in the kit Mat. no.
200009421 SmartControl 2.0 dynamic pairing plug BS. The mounting of this option is described in the
mounting instructions DIS no. 40000001184 Mounting instructions for dynamic pairing.
The kit is only compatible with the AK 655 and AK 656 connector assembly series from
Apparatebau Kirchheim-Teck GmbH.
6.3 Disconnecting the pairing – trailer
If two systems are paired with each other, this pairing can be disconnected again.
The pairing can be disconnected on the truck or trailer.
Bär Control EVO options:
Push the left vertically and horizontally operating joystick 2 x downwards.
Control box option 2.0:
Push the left lever switch down twice.
Disconnect the pairing with the hand-held transmitter:
Press and hold down the “Truck” and “Trailer” pushbutton for at least 0.5
seconds.
If disconnection is successful:
LED under the truck symbol and the trailer symbol blink red.
If the radio connection between the system on the truck and the system on the trailer is interrupted
for more than 1 minute, the pairing is automatically disconnected.
