7.3 Selection of the additional functions
7.3.1 Drive In/Drive Out
With the Bär SmartControl 2.0 system, it is possible to drive a drive-under Cargolift in and out. In order to be
able to select the “Drive In” and “Drive Out” functions, the corresponding function mode must first be
activated.

- Hand-held transmitter is logged in
- In the last 5 seconds no function was selected
via another control element.
Activating the
function mode

 To activate the “Drive In” and “Drive Out” function
mode:
Press the 4-function pushbutton and hold it for at
least 1 second.
 “Truck” function mode active:
Green LED blinks, red LED under the truck
symbol illuminates and the fifth LED blinks.
 “Trailer” function mode active:
Green LED blinks, red LED under the trailer
symbol illuminates and the fifth LED blinks.
Drive out
or
 To drive out the Cargolift:
Press the “Open” pushbutton 2 x then hold it
down.
 The Cargolift drives out until the pushbutton is
released.
Drive in
or
 To drive in the Cargolift:
Press the “Close” pushbutton 2 x then hold it
down.
 The Cargolift drives in until the pushbutton is
released.
Deactivating the
function mode

The function mode is ended when
- the “Lift” pushbutton is actuated,
- the “Lower” pushbutton is actuated,
- the function pushbutton is actuated,
or
- no pushbutton is actuated for longer than 7
seconds.
