WARRANTY & RETURN PROCEDURES
LIMITED WARRANTY POLICY
BASE Engineering systems are warranted to be free from manufacturing
defects in materials and workmanship for a period of four years from the date
of manufacture. All parts and accessories purchased from BASE that were not
purchased as a part of a system carry a one-year warranty.
If a product is deemed defective by BASE Engineering, BASE will repair or
replace (at its sole discretion) the product without charge for parts or labor.
Please note this warranty does not apply: (a) to any product damaged by
accident, misuse, improper installation, lightning, fire, flood, or any other
act of nature; (b) if the product is altered or repaired by anyone other than
authorized BASE personnel; (c) to any components or equipment connected
to the BASE product that were not supplied by BASE Engineering. BASE
Engineering will not be held responsible for any other charges incurred by
any other party including but not limited to shop charges, travel charges,
troubleshooting charges, etc.
All warranty work must be pre-approved by BASE Engineering. Customers
must obtain a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number before any product
is repaired or replaced under warranty. In the event of a warranty return, the
customer is responsible for shipping the product to BASE Engineering. BASE
in turn will ship the product back to the customer at no cost.
In the event where a distributor elects to replace a component without prior
factory authorization, the factory will repair or replace the component in
question only once an inspection has taken place and the component has
been determined to be eligible for warranty.
