4.9.4.2 Oil Cooler DisassemblyProcedures
Loosen the connecting thread sleeve on the engine oil cooler, loosen the clamp and connecting hose
of the water return pipe of engine oil cooler, loosen the water inlet pipe of engine oil cooler, and
take out the engine oil cooler, as shown in Figure 4-60.
4.9.4.3 Inspection and Maintenance of Oil Cooler
Check the engine oil cooler for cracks. If any, replace it with a new one.
4.9.4.4 Oil Cooler Assembly Procedures
① Before assembly, check the engine oil cooler for defects in manufacturing or application, and
damage. They shall be in good conditions.
② Clean the mating faces of the engine oil cooler and filter holder.
③ Assemble the engine oil cooler, assemble and tighten the connecting thread sleeve, connect the
water inlet and return pipes of the engine oil cooler, and tighten the clamps.
