4.7.1.3 Fuel system Assembly Procedures
The assembly procedures are in the reverse order of the disassembly procedures.
4.7.2 Disassembly, Inspection, Repair, and Assembly of Injection Pump
4.7.2.1 Exploded View for Assembly of Fuel Injection Pump

4.7.2.2 Fuel Injection Pump DisassemblyProcedures
①Disassemble the connecting pipelines and cables of fuel injection pump from the vehicle.
②Disassemble the connecting hollow bolts between fuel injection pump and low pressure fuel pipe.
③Disassemble the connecting hollow bolts between fuel injection pump and air pipe of smoking
limiter.
④Disassemble the connecting hollow bolts between fuel injection pump and fuel injector fuel
return pipe.
⑤Disassemble the connecting nuts between fuel injection pump and high pressure fuel pipe in turn.
⑥Disassemble the connecting hollow bolts between fuel injection pump and lubricating oil pipe.
⑦Disassemble the upper cover plate of front wall cap. Refer to disassembling instructions of front
wall cap for details.
⑧Disassemble the fuel injection pump bolts and disassemble the fuel injection pump gears and
pressure plate.
⑨Disassemble the fastening nuts between fuel injection pump and front wall cap and disassemble
the fuel injection pump.
4.7.2.3 Inspection and Maintenance of Fuel Injection Pump
①Observe the external surfaces of fuel injection pump for presence of cracking and leakage. If any,
replace and feed back to manufacturer as per corresponding procedure.
②Observe the lead seal on fuel injection pump for presence of damage. If damaged, replace the
pump or readjust the fuel amount on a fuel pump stand.
