iii) Ensure infusion set is fully inserted into tubing guide and all air
is removed from the infusion set.

8. Close door and open roller clamp. Ensure no drops are
falling in the drip chamber.
9. Ensure all air is removed from the set.
10. Connect the infusion set to the patient access device.
