7.4 Ventilate the central lubrication pump
· After the start-up and after each complete emptying of the reservoir the central lubrication pump has to be
ventilated!
· Unscrew main line from pump element.
· Activate the central lubrication pump until lubricant comes out of the pump element without air inclusions.
· Collect outcoming lubricant with a suitable receptacle (environmental predection, work safety).
· Do not reuse collected lubricant (risk of pollution)!
· Dispose collected lubricant professional!
· Connect the main line to the pump elements.
· Operate the central lubrication pump.
· Check all connections visual during the first operating hours.
Use the same procedure for the progressive distributors or lube points.
7.3 Basic filling of the central lubrication pump
You receive the pump without grease filling. In order to operate it you have to equipp it with a basic filling.
Proceed as described under item 9.2.
