Chapter 5 Faults and Alarms
Fault Summaries
TO TREADLE
This alarm occurs when a vehicle has pulled into the bay (Package shifted from Loader to wash) but never
pulled onto the Treadle.
PULL OFF
This alarm occurs when a vehicle left the bay in the middle of a wash cycle.
TIME OUT
This alarm occurs when at least one of the Outputs (NAMED 1 – 8) and (MISC 1 – 8) is on and the status of the
output pattern has not changed for over 10 minutes.
ENTER NOT OUT
This fault occurs if Enter Arm’s Out Sensors (Read Switches) are not on when arm should be retracted. This is
when the computer has 036 (ENTER BOTH IN/WTR) off and either Input (X33-ENTER P/S OUT) or (X34-
ENTER D/S OUT) is not on. Fault will only occur if the wash cycle is in progress. The Fault is delayed 15 to 21
seconds depending on conditions. If either input is off for 6 seconds after 036 is off, the Carriage motion will be
paused until they are both on.
EXIT NOT OUT
This fault occurs if Exit Arm’s Out Sensors (Read Switches) are not on when arm should be retracted. This is
when the computer has 030 (EXIT BOTH IN/WTR) off and either Input (X30-EXIT P/S OUT) or (X31-EXIT D/S
OUT) is not on. Fault will only occur if the wash cycle is in progress. The Fault is delayed 15 to 21 seconds
depending on conditions. If either input is off for 6 seconds after 030 is off, the Carriage motion will be paused
until they are both on.
TOP NOT OUT
This fault occurs if the Top Wheel Up Sensors (Read Switches) are not on when the Top Wheel should be up.
This is when the computer has 032 (TOP WHEEL DOWN/WTR) off and Input (X3\20-TOP WHEEL UP) is not
on. Fault will only occur if the wash cycle is in progress. The Fault is delayed 15 to 21 seconds depending on
conditions. If either input is off for 2 seconds after 032 is off, the Carriage motion will be paused until it on.
