BATTERY INSPECTION
To access the battery compartment:
1. Remove the saddle using the
wrench provided.
2. Remove the 4 screws “A” fastening
the battery bracket "B" and remove it.
3. Take out the battery “C”.
We recommend using Petronas Tutela
protection grease.
NOTE:
Turn the key to ” ” before accessing
the battery.
When the battery is removed, the nega-
tive (Black) terminal must be disconnect-
ed before the positive one (Red). When
the battery is re tted, the positive pole
must be connected rst.
Connect the nuts to the terminals.
Once the battery has been inspected,
re t the saddle following the steps in re-
verse order.
Battery storage.
The battery tends to discharge if not
charged on a regular basis. When the
battery is completely at, chemical reac-
tions occur inside it that will damage it
irreparably.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
If the vehicle is not being used for more
than 15 days, the battery must be re-
moved, charged monthly and stored in
a cool, dry place. If the battery is left
on the vehicle, disconnect the negative
electrode (Black).
If the above precautions are not taken,
the battery becomes damaged,
This damage is not covered by guaran-
tee.
