CHECKS BEFORE RIDING
COOLING FLUID CHECK
Cooling fl uid level
Before using the bike, always check the
level of cooling  uid. It is also necessary
to change cooling  uid at the intervals
speci c in the periodical maintenance
and lubrication sheet.
To check the level of the cooling  uid
1. Place the vehicle on a  at surface
and keep it upright.
2. Check the level.
The liquid level must be between the
min. and max. levels.
If this is not the case, reset the level as
described in the speci c section.
The level of liquid refrigerant must be
measured while the engine is cool, since
it varies according to engine tempera-
ture.
NOTE:
STOP LIGHT CHECKS
• Turn the key to “ “.
• Pull the front brake lever and press
the rear brake pedal alternatively and
make sure that the light switches on.
• Make sure the rear light is not dam-
aged or dirty.
DIRECTION TURN CHECKS
• Turn the key to “ “.
• Use the indicator switch and make
sure that they flash.
REAR VIEW MIRROR CHECK
Sit in the saddle and adjust the mirrors
for a correct vision behind you.
Make sure that mirrors are not damaged
or dirty.
