If the uid level in the tank is close to
minimum, make a visual check of brake
pad wear. If the brake pads are not worn,
there may be a leak in the hydraulic cir-
cuit. Contact a Benelli assistance centre
for an inspection as soon as possible.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Incorrect maintenance may cause a
brake capacity reduction.
Respect the following precautions:
• Insuf cient brake uid may cause
air to enter the brake circuit, caus-
ing a reduction in brake perfor-
mance.
• Clean the ller cap before removing
it. Only use DOT 4 brake uid.
• Only use the prescribed brake uid,
as per the speci cations. Any other
type could cause the rubber seals
to deteriorate, leading to leaks.
• Top up with the same type of brake
uid. Adding a different type of
brake uid from DOT 4 may cause
a noxious reaction.
• Do not allow water or dust to enter
the brake uid tank while re lling.
Brake uid can damage painted surfac-
es or plastic parts. Clean
any spilled liquids immediately.
Since brake pads become worn, it is
normal for the uid level in the tank to
drop gradually. If the brake uid level
is low it is possible that the brake pads
are worn and/or that there is a leak in
the brake circuit; therefore, make sure to
check the brake pads for wear and to
look for leaks in the brake circuit.
