Using the Panel
Arming/Disarming
This operation will arm/disarm all the Alarm devices of the entire System.
To Arm/Disarm the panel—turn the key to position

I then release it. The System
status (Armed/Disarmed) will be indicated on the LED [4] (ON/OFF).
The System will change status each time the key is turned.
Bypass zone
This operation will disarm the Alarm devices of the Zone in question.
To Bypass the Zone—press the Bypass button [3], the Amber LED will switch
ON to indicate ‘Zone Bypassed’.
The Zone will change status (bypassed/unbypassed) each time the button is pressed.
The zones cannot be bypassed during Armed status.
Silence Alarms
This operation will silence/stop all the activated Alarm devices.
To silence/stop an Alarm in course—Disarm the Panel.
Reset Alarm Memory
Alarm and Tamper events will be signalled on the Panel Alarm LED [5], Line Status
LED [1] and/or on the Tamper LED [6]. If the system is equipped with Readers,
Alarm and Tamper events will also be signalled on the Reader LEDs [38]. To reset
all LEDs—hold the key [9] in position

I until the LEDs switch OFF
(approximately 5 seconds).
The Alarm Memory will reset automatically each time the System is armed.
The Alarm Memory can be reset during Armed or Disarmed status.
USER GUIDE
Key Readers [31], Proximity Readers [42], Keys [41] and Cards [50] must be
duly enrolled on the system by the Installer.
The Base-2 Panel will allow you to perform the following operations via the
commands on the Frontplate, or via the system control devices (Key Readers,
Proximity Readers, Keys and Cards):
Arm the system
Disarm the system
Bypass zones (Partial arming mode)
Silence Alarms
Reset Alarm Memory
