§ Thinner 3D - adapts the Acti-Feed for use with thinner 3D embroidery foam -
typically around 2mm
§ Thicker 3D - adapts the Acti-Feed for use with thicker 3D embroidery foam -
typically around 3mm
§ Looping - adapts the Acti-Feed for use with thicker thread and intentionally
overfeeds, creating loops in the stitches
o Color Block - This shows the number of the color block in the design. For example, 3
means the third color to sew.
o Needle - This shows the needle assigned to that color block.
· Lower - The lower section of the color block displays color information from the le.
o Not all les contain color data. If no data is present, a color swatch is still shown for reference
as to which portion of the design it is.
Setting the Color Sequence
To set the color sequence of the design:
1. Tap to select the color block.
o The selected color block will be highlighted in the sequence and the stitches contained within
that block will highlight in the view window.
o The selected color block and all color blocks occurring before will it be rendered three-
dimensionally in the view window.
o All color blocks occurring after the selected block will be rendered two-dimensionally.
o The currently assigned needle thread tree will be highlighted.
o If assigned to a needlewith a thread assigned to it, that thread information will appear below
the thread tree.
2. Tap to select the desired needle.
a. The selected color block will change to the newly assigned needle and the color associated
with it.
