Only fit tyres approved by BETAMOTOR.
Unsuitable tyres can adversely affect the road holding of the vehicle.
•Toprotectyoursafety,immediatelyreplaceanydamagedtyres.
•Slicktyresadverselyaffecttheroadholdingofthevehicle,especiallyonwetroads
and in off-road riding.
•Insufcientpressureresultsinabnormalwearandoverheatingofthetyres.
•Thefrontandreartyresmusthavethesametreaddesign.
•Alwaysmeasuretheinatingpressureswhenthetyresarecold.
•Keepthetyrepressureswithintheprescribedrange.
CHAIN
Checking the drive chain periodically to ensure longer chain life. Always keep it
lubricated and clean of deposited dirt.
Take special care in preventing the lubricant from coming into contact with the rear
tyre or brake disc, otherwise the tyre grip and the action of the brake would be
greatly reduced, making it very difficult to control the vehicle.
CHECK AND ADJUST
TIGHTENING CHAIN
Position the drive on a flat base ensuring
stability.
If the chain play exceeds 20 mm tension
the chain.
