For Your Health
There may still be some production residues on the device. To avoid harmful effects
to your health, clean the device thoroughly before you rst use it (see the "Cleaning"
chapter).
Clean the device after each use to prevent germ formation (see the "Cleaning" chapter).
Danger of Fire
Do not use the device if highly ammable gases are present in the air.
Do not cover the ventilation slots and do not insert any objects through the ventilation
slots into the device in order to prevent the device from overheating.
Set-Up and Connection
In order to avoid electric shocks, do not use the device near water or other liquids.
Use the device only in closed rooms.
Always place the device on a dry, at, solid and moisture-resistant surface and a suf-
cient distance away from ammable items such as curtains etc. To ensure optimum
performance, a gap of at least 10 cm should remain around the beer pump.
Maintain a suf cient distance from heat sources such as hobs, naked ames or ovens
in order not to damage the device. Also avoid direct sunlight.
The device should only be connected to a properly installed plug socket with safe-
ty contacts. The plug socket must also be readily accessible after connection. The
mains voltage must match the technical data of the device. Only use proper exten-
sion cables whose technical data corresponds with that of the device (see the "Tech-
nical Data" chapter).
Make sure that the connected mains cable does not present a trip hazard. Do not
allow the cable to hang over the edge of tables or kitchen counters. Others may be-
come caught and pull the device down.
Position the cable in such a way that it does not become squashed or bent and does
not come into contact with hot surfaces.
When you are carrying the device, make sure that you always hold it by the bottom
edge and not by the tap, lid or power cable. Do not pull or carry the device by the cable.
Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, wide temperature variations, or
direct sunlight. If possible, operate the device at an ambient temperature of between
12°C and 30°C.
Do not tap into the beer keg immediately after it has been transported! Give the beer
suf cient time to settle after it has been shaken around (e.g. during transport etc.).
Instructions for Use
Always check the device for damage before putting it into operation. If the device, the
cable or the plug shows visible signs of damage, the device must not be used. Do not
use the device if it has malfunctioned or been dropped in water.
