If the device is broken, do not attempt to repair it or replace any individual parts your-
self. In the event of any damage, please contact a specialist or our customer service
department. Do not use the device until it has been repaired in order to prevent mate-
rial damage and personal injury!
Only switch on the device and activate the beer tap if a beer keg has been properly
attached beforehand.
If any damage/faults occur, switch off the device immediately using the On/Off switch.
Use only original accessories or accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
Switch the device off using the On/Off switch and pull the mains plug out of the plug
socket
– when the device is not in use,
– before you connect or remove any accessories,
– if a fault occurs while the device is in operation,
– before a thunderstorm,
– before you clean it.
When you want to remove the mains plug from the socket, always pull the plug and
never the cable.
Never immerse the device in water or other liquids! Ensure that the device, cable or
plug cannot fall into water or become wet. Also never place any glasses down on
the lid of the beer pump. If the device should fall into water or come into contact with
other liquids, cut the power supply immediately. Do not attempt to pull the device or
the cable out of the water while the beer pump is still connected to the mains power!
Do not touch the device, the cable or the plug with wet hands.
Do not sit or stand on the device.
Do not drop the device or allow it to be knocked violently.
Never remove the tapping sword/valve unit or the carbonated keg adapter from the
keg when it is still pressurised! If you want to replace the keg before it has been
completely emptied, it is essential that you follow the instructions in the "Cleaning"
chapter.
Never use kegs which are defective or not sealed properly.
The Proper Handling of CO
2
Cartridges
Never throw CO
2
cartridges onto a fi re!
The CO
2
cartridges are pressurised and must not be heated up to a temperature
of over 50°C. Keep them away from heat sources (e.g. stoves, heating and naked
fl ames etc.) and from direct sunlight. Store the cartridges in a dry and cool place.
The CO
2
cartridges should be at room temperature for use.
Keep children and animals away from the CO
2
cartridges.
Do not make any changes to the CO
2
cartridge.
Avoid any contact with the cartridge when it is iced up (danger of cold burns) and do
not use it in this case.
Only ever use 16 g CO
2
cartridges in order to prevent damage to the device.
Only dispose of the CO
2
cartridges when they are completely empty!
