4. Flip the sleeve back into the lid.
5. If there is no longer any pressure when drawing beer even though the pressure regu-
lator is opened up (see the "Drawing Beer" chapter), the CO
2
cartridges need to be
replaced. To do this, follow the steps above and remove the empty CO
2
cartridge
before inserting a new one.
NOTE: Only dispose of the CO
2
cartridge when it is completely empty!
Tapping into and Inserting a Carbonated Keg
As carbonated kegs already contain the required amount of CO
2
, no CO
2
cartridge is
required. In this case, the pressure regulator is deactivated.
1. After transport, allow the keg to rest for around two hours and cool it beforehand if
possible.
2. Open the lid of the beer pump.
3. Clamp the CO
2
feed line into the mount next to the sleeve
for the CO
2
cartridge.
4. Remove the seal cap from the keg.
5. Press the carbonated keg adapter onto the valve in the
keg. Check it to make sure it ts properly.
6. Open the lid of the beer pump by pressing the release
button and place the beer keg into the cooling container.
7. Make sure that the beer pump is switched off (switch posi-
tion 0). Connect the beer line to the tap with the carbon-
ated keg adapter.
Connecting and Switching On the Beer Pump
CAUTION!
Only connect the device to a proper plug socket that corresponds to the technical
data of the device (see the "Technical Data" chapter).
1. Close the beer pump lid until it locks in place with an audible click.
2. Check the position of the On/Off switch before you connect the beer pump to a plug
socket. It must be tilted to the 0 position. Also make sure that the pressure regulator
is at its limit stop in the – position and that the tap handle is vertical.
3. Insert the mains plug into a plug socket that is easily accessible. The mains voltage
must match the technical data of the device.
4. Switch on the beer pump by moving the On/Off switch to position I. The cooling is
activated. The display lights up and shows the current temperature of the beer.
