Working with the map | Map display during route guidance
Speed limit
During the navigation, the speed limits applicable
to the position of the vehicle can be shown on the
display. Adjust whether a warning beep should
sound if the speed limit is exceeded.
The speed limits are used from the map material.
In addition, the camera acquires the signposts in
real time while driving (signpost recognition).
Note:
If you select the video display for the route
guidance, the signpost recognition is deacti-
vated. The speed limits from the map material
are used.
Touch the symbol.
The Speed Warning menu is dis-
played.
Touch the symbol to show (check
mark) or hide (no check mark) speed
limits.
Touch the symbol to switch the warn-
ing beep on (check mark) or off (no
check mark).
Touch the symbol if the warning beep
should sound only at a higher speed.
To do so, adjust the difference to the
permitted speed (tolerance value).
Touch the symbol to activate (check
mark) or deactivate (no check mark)
the signpost recognition.
Continuing a tour automatically
For tours, you can specify that the next destina-
tion is automatically approached after reaching an
interim destination. If you deactivate the function,
a confi rmation is shown fi rst whether the route
guidance to the next interim destination should
be continued.
Touch the symbol to activate (check
mark) or deactivate (no check mark)
the function.
Showing/hiding tour info
For tours, time and distance to the next interim
destination are shown during route guidance. This
information can also be shown on the display for
the last destination.
Touch the symbol to also show
(check mark) or hide (no check
mark) the time and distance to the

DANGER!
Disregarding the local signpost infor-
mation and street routing can cause
accidents
The information on the digital road maps may no
longer be current due to short-term changes (con-
struction, etc.).
Additional information, e.g. the speed limit, can
be shown only if they are contained in the map
material.
The signposts and local street routing always have
priority over the information of the navigation de-
vice.
