Offi ce function
The Offi ce menu contains useful functions for your
mobile offi ce – for reading, writing and comput-
ing.
Use the Offi ce applications to record thoughts
or ideas or record them with the voice recorder.
Check the calendar and enter important dates.
You can use short breaks to read important docu-
ments in common formats.
DANGER!
Distraction from the traffi c can cause
accidents
Do not use the functions if you are the driver. It is
allowed to use the applications while the vehicle is
standing and the engine is switched off.
Starting the Offi ce application
Touch the symbol in the Infotainment
menu.
The Offi ce menu is displayed.
Displaying documents (viewer)
Open and read documents that are located in the
memory of the device or on the memory card.
Find the suitable program for the common for-
mats (doc, xls, ppt, pdf). The operation is similar
to that of a computer. The documents cannot be
edited.
Touch the symbol.
The available viewers are listed.
Touch an entry in the list to open the desired
viewer.
Note:
Not all of the following listed buttons are avail-
able for all viewers.
Touch the File button to select one of the
menu items:
Open: Opens a document
Recent Files: Open one of the recently
used documents

Close: Closes an opened document
About: Displays brief information about
the application
Exit: Closes the application
Touch the Zoom or View button to change the
view.
Touch the Setup button to perform settings.
Touch the Slide Show button to start the
screen presentation for slides using the PPT
format.
Notes
Author your notes in words or images with the
writing or drawing programme. The fi les (*.bmp,
*.txt) are stored in the internal memory in the
"TravelPilot" directory (ch. "My fi les").
Touch the symbol.
The Notes menu is displayed.
Writing programme (Notepad)
Touch the symbol to open the writing
programme.
The document list is displayed.
Touch the New button to create a new docu-
ment.
Touch the Edit button to edit the document.
The keyboard is displayed.
Enter your text and touch the Save button to
save the document.

Touch an entry in the list to mark the desired
document.
Touch the Options button to open and edit or
to delete the document.
All documents in the list can be deleted with
the Delete All button.
