Phone book
The phonebook function is available for more
phone comfort. Fill the phone book yourself with
entries or load the entries from your cell phone
into the device.
Prerequisites:
Your cell phone supports this function.
Bluetooth connection to the cell phone (ch.

Loading the phone book

Note:
For entries with several phone numbers in the
cell phone, the fi rst phone number is trans-
ferred to the phone book.
Touch the symbol on the second
page of the Bluetooth Settings
menu.
Calling from the phone book
In the Bluetooth menu, touch the
symbol.
The phone book is displayed.
Touch an entry in the phone book.
Touch the Call button.
The phone number is being dialed.
Adding an entry
Touch the Options button.
Touch the symbol to add an entry.
The keyboard is displayed.
Enter the name and confi rm with OK.
Enter the phone number and confi rm with
OK.
The phone number is stored under the name
entered.

Editing entries
Touch an entry in the phone book.
Touch the Options button.
Touch the symbol to change an en-
try.

Touch the symbol to delete the en-
try.

Touch the symbol to delete all en-
tries.
Short messages (SMS)
You can use the Short Message Service (SMS) via
the navigation device. You can send and receive
short messages.
Prerequisites:
Your cell phone supports this function.
Bluetooth connection to the cell phone (ch.
"Establishing a Bluetooth connection")
In the Bluetooth menu, touch the
symbol.
The SMS menu is displayed.
Writing SMS
Touch the Write Message button.
Touch the Number button and enter the
phone number.
Touch the empty text fi eld and enter your
message.
Touch the Send button.
The message is being sent.
