Displaying the route list and entering
blockings
The route list can be displayed to gain an overview
of the route.
In the Route Guidance Options menu,
touch the symbol.
The route list is displayed.
Touch the buttons to scroll
through the route list.
Touch an entry and the Expand button to com-
pletely display the selected route segment.
Touch the symbol to exit the
route list again.
Showing/hiding route segments
The route points are shown in the route list. A route
point can contain one or several route segments.
Touch the buttons to show the route
segments.
Touch the button to return to the
route point.
Traffi c obstructions in the route list
In the route list, the symbol identifi es
received traffi c obstructions.
Blocking route segments
Block a segment in the route list with any number
of route segments. The blocking is marked in
colour.
Touch a route segment.
Touch the Blocking Start button to defi ne the
starting point.
Touch an additional route segment.
Touch the Blocking End button to defi ne the
end of the blocking.
Unblocking
Touch the Delete Blocking button to cancel
a blocking.
Calculating an alternate route
The route calculation is performed based on your
settings (ch. "Specifying route options"). Alterna-
tively, additional routes are offered with different
distances and driving times. The straight line is
listed for comparison and is used for offroad route
guidance (ch. "Route guidance"). Select the most
favourable route for the route guidance from the
route suggestions.
In the Route Guidance Options menu,
touch the symbol.
The Alternative Routes menu is dis-
played.
Touch the Show Map button to display the
routes on the map.
Touch the symbol to exit the map
view again.
Touch the desired route to select it.
The map is displayed.
Entering a blocking
During route guidance, you can block the route
segment lying ahead of you and bypass it.
Entering a blocking
In the Route Guidance Options menu,
touch the symbol.
The Set Traffi c Jam Ahead menu is
displayed.
Touch the buttons to enter the
length of the blocking, starting
with the current position.
Touch the OK button.
The route is recalculated and the blocked
route segment is bypassed. The blocked seg-
ment is marked in red.
Unblocking
In the Route Guidance Options menu,
touch the symbol again to cancel the
blocking.
