Infotainment
Under Infotainment, applications concerning the
transmission of knowledge and entertainment are
combined. The applications are described in the
following chapters:
Making phone calls on the road and more:
"Bluetooth function (telephone)"
Useful on all trips:
The "phrase book"
Capturing in images:
"Camera" with photo and video function
Passing time with music, images and videos:
"Entertainment"
Browsing the Internet and maintaining
contacts via e-mail:
"Internet function"
Using waiting times meaningfully:
The "Offi ce function"

Distraction from the traffi c can cause
accidents
Do not use the Infotainment functions if you are
the driver. These applications distract from the
ongoing traffi c and reduce your reactions.
It is allowed to use the applications while the vehi-
cle is standing and the engine is switched off.

Bluetooth function (telephone)
Bluetooth is a wireless radio connection over a
short distance. The Bluetooth connection allows
transferring language and data:
Calling via Bluetooth:
Ch. "Hands-free function"
Loading and using the phone book of your cell
phone: Ch. "Phone book"
Receiving and sending SMS:
Ch. "Short messages (SMS)"
Playing music from your cell phone on
the navigation device - or transferring the
music to a car sound system:
Ch. "Audio transmission"
Exchanging music, image and video fi les
or similar with the cell phone:
Ch. "File transfer"
Surf the Internet with your cell phone
as a modem:
Ch. "Performing Bluetooth settings" and ch.
"Internet function"
Note:
Certain Bluetooth functions may not or not
completely supported by all Bluetooth-ready
devices. Read the instructions of your cell
phone and ask your network provider, if nec-
essary.
