Ancillary components and assemblies included
are:
The cooling fan is necessary
to keep the compressor below its maximum
ambient operation temperature of 50°C (122°F)
or less.
This assembly serves as
the attachment ports for the high- and low-side
service hoses, as the oil injection point through
PAG Solenoid (S2) and POE Solenoid (S14),
and as the dye injection point through Dye Inject
Solenoid (S15).
This assembly serves as the
attachment ports for the high- and low-side
service hoses.
This bottle provides a
reservoir for used oil and must be drained when
the user is instructed to do so by the control
panel. Operators should drain this bottle prior to
each use of the unit to make sure unit operation
is not interrupted.
These gauges
monitor the high- and low-side pressures when
the unit is operating.
These hoses connect the unit to the
vehicle A/C system.
