5.5 Replacing high-pressure feed connection
See Chapter 5.4
5.6 Replacing pressure control valve (PCV)
Procedure:
1. Switch off EPS on main switch.
2. Detach connector (1) to pressure control valve (2).
3. Undo pressure control valve and unscrew from high-
pressure rail (3).
4. Lightly oil internal thread of new pressure control valve
before assembly.
5. Insert new pressure control valve with O-ring (4) into
the assembly bore and screw in.
6. Align pressure control valve and tighten to 70 Nm.
7. Turn pressure limiting valve back through 90° and tighten
to 100 Nm.
8. Plug connector (1) onto pressure control valve.
i It is not necessary to follow a specific sequence when
fitting the connectors to the PCVs.
! When fitting, makes sure that the plugs latch properly
into place.

5.7 Replacing B9 pressure sensor
Procedure:
1. Switch off EPS on main switch.
2. Undo fastening screw (1) and detach connector (2)
from pressure sensor (3).
3. Undo pressure sensor and unscrew from adapter
(4).
4. Lightly oil internal thread of new pressure sensor before
assembly.
5. Screw in new pressure sensor and tighten to 70 Nm.
6. Turn pressure sensor back through 90° and tighten to
100 Nm.
7. Mount individual components in reverse dismantling
order.
5.8 Replacing B10 pressure sensor
Procedure:
1. Switch off EPS on main switch.
2. Detach connecting cable (1) from pressure sensor
(2).
3. Undo pressure sensor and unscrew from high-pressure
rail.
4. Lightly oil internal thread of new pressure sensor before
assembly.
5. Screw in new pressure sensor and tighten to 70 Nm.
6. Turn pressure sensor back through 90° and tighten to
100 Nm.
7. Plug connector onto pressure sensor.
