A PC/Laptop with internet access is required for !
online licensing.
Supply the KTS 340 with voltage by way of the 1.
power supply unit provided.
The KTS 340 starts up. ?
Use the USB connecting cable to connect the 2.
KTS 340 to a PC/Laptop.
Select the "3. Licensing >> Online" menu in the Start-
center.
The " ? Online" input box is opened.
Step 1: Enter customer number / password and select 4.
<Login>.
The internet link for online licensing is estab- ?
lished.
If " i Login" is not possible, check proxy settings under
"Settings >> User settings".
Step 2: Select contract Id and then <5. Generate>.
The licence key is requested. ?
The request for the licence key can take several i
seconds.
The USB link and the power supply to the KTS 340 !
must not be interrupted during transmission of the
licence key.
Select <6. Implement>.
The licence key is transferred to the KTS 340. ?
If licensing is successful, the KTS 340 is re- ?
started.
