Assembly
The following assembly steps must be taken
before the hand-held nutrunner can be com-
missioned:
ESV/ CC-ESV
 Attach the output drive or output drive
adapter.
 If necessary, attach accessory parts.
 If using the hand-held nutrunner as a sta-
tionary device, mount it to a mounting
plate.
 Connect the ErgoSpin connecting cable.
ESA/ CC-ESA
 If necessary, readjust the angle head.
 If necessary, attach accessory parts.
 If using the hand-held nutrunner as a sta-
tionary device, mount it to a mounting
plate.
 Connect the ErgoSpin connecting cable.
ESM...QD/ ESM...SD/ CC-ESM
 If necessary, attach accessory parts.
 Connect the ErgoSpin connecting cable.
ESM025HT
 Attach the output drive.
 If necessary, attach accessory parts.
 Connect the ErgoSpin connecting cable.
6.1 Output drive assembly
ESV/ CC-ESV (see Fig. A)
These hand-held nutrunners require that a
suitable output drive or output drive adapter
be mounted beforehand "Output drives for
ESV", page 92).
Tools required:
• Hook spanner with DIN 1810 shape B
hinge, outer nut diameter
35-60 mm, pin diameter 4 mm
• Assembly aid ESWM 3 608 876 473
 Fit the output drive 2 onto the nutrunner
body in the desired position.
 Screw on the union nut 4. Ensure that the
union nut will not cant.
 Clamp the assembly aid 20 into a vise or
the like.
 Using a suitable tool, e.g. the hook span-
ner 21, tighten the union nut 4 with the
torque according to Table 6. While doing
so, hold the assembly aid 20 to the flange
3 of the output drive as counterweight.
CAUTION
No torque support for the ErgoSpin/
CC-ErgoSpin hand-held nutrunner!
Damage to persons/property!
 Install torque support in the following
cases:
– ESM/ CC-ESM for 10 Nm and
higher
– ESA/ ESV with angle head/
CC-ESA/ CC-ESV with angle head
for 40 Nm and higher
There are 24 different positions
which can be taken in 15° incre-
ments.
