1.1 Validity of the documentation
This documentation applies to the following products:

This documentation is intended for assembly fitters, operators, service engineers
and system end users.
This documentation contains important information on the safe and proper assem-
bly, transport, commissioning, operation, use, maintenance, disassembly and simple
troubleshooting of the product
▶ You should read this documentation thoroughly, and in particular chapter2
"Safety instructions" on page7 and chapter3 "General information on dam-
age to property and damage to the product" on page11, before working with
the product.
1.2 Required and amending documentation
▶ The product must not be commissioned until you have been provided with the
documentation marked with the book symbol
and you have understood and
observed it.
▶ Observe the configuration and setting instructions according to the 30110-Z ad-
ditional information when using the VT-VSPA2-1-2X amplifier card as replacement
for VT3000-3X, VT 3006-3X, VT 3013-3X, VT 3014-3X, VT 3017-3X, VT 3018-3X,
VT3026-3X, VT-VSPA2-1-1X/... or VT-VSPA2-50-1X/...

1.3 Representation of information
Consistent safety instructions, symbols, terms and abbreviations are used in this
documentation so that you can quickly and safely work with your product. For a bet-
ter understanding, they are explained in the following sections.
1.3.1 Safety instructions
