5.4.5 Tested Cables
Use of Specified Cables
The use of accessories and cables other than those specified (with the exception of cables
sold by Brainlab as replacement parts), may result in increased emissions or decreased
immunity of the equipment.
For a navigation station the following shall apply: S-Video type cables provided by the user
shall be equipped with a ferrite on both ends (e.g., Würth Electronic Art. No. 742 711 31 or
equivalent). USB type cables provided by the user shall be equipped with a ferrite on both
ends (e.g., Würth Electronic Art. No. 742 712 22 or equivalent).
