14. COLOR OF EXHAUST GAS
The exhaust gas may be a little black at the time of start-
ing the engine, but normally its color is clear.
Black – incomplete combustion due to too much fuel
intake.
White – misring or cold temperature.
Blue – burning of engine oil
If the color of the exhaust gas remains black or white dur-
ing operation, have the tractor inspected at your nearest
authorized dealer.
