18) PRE HEAT LAMP
Lamp will light on/off depending on temperature of engine cool-
ant when main key switch is turned on. Lamp will be turned
off when heater coil is heated. Start engine after this lamp is
turned off.
It is difcult to start engine in winter when starting engine be-
fore warm up lamp is turned off. It also causes early discharge
of battery.
19) ENGINE OIL PRESSURE LAMP
Lamp will come on when the ignition switch is put into the “ON”
position. It will turn off when the engine is started.
If this lamp comes on while the engine is running, it indicates a
problem in the engine oil system. Stop the engine immediately
and check for problems.
20) BATTERY CHARGING LAMP
It will be turned on when the key switch is put into the “ON”
position, and will be turned off when the battery starts being
charged after engine is started and the engine revolution in-
creases. The battery will not be charged with the engine below
1,000 rpm. (The rpm should be 1,500 rpm or higher)
21) FUEL EMPTY LAMP
It will light up when there is little fuel in fuel tank.
Refuel immediately as empty fuel tank may cause intake of air.
