MAIN FUSE AND FUSES 7.22
GENERAL
Buell motorcycles feature two components which protect the
electrical system.
Fuses
See Figure 7-73.The covered fuse block is behind the fairing
on the right hand side of the motorcycle.
See Figure 7-74. The lights, key switch, brake/horn and igni-
tion fuses are rated at 15 Amps. The ECM, cooling fan and
accessory fuses are rated at 7.5 Amps.
Always investigate the cause of blown fuses before replacing
them.
Main Fuse
See Figure 7-75. The 30 Amp main fuse is located under the
seat.
To disable the motorcycle’s ignition system, pull the main fuse
up and out of the main fuse holder.
