6.1 Cleaning - Private Use

Material damage
Failure to heed this warning may result in material damage due to penetrating moisture.
•
Unplug the power cable and store the power plug so that it does not come into excessive
contact with water or other cleaning solutions (place in a plastic bag).
•
Make sure that all plugs are properly inserted in the drive motors.
•
Ensure that none of the electrical components show any signs of external damage; other-
wise water or cleaning agents may penetrate the system. This can result in malfunctions
or damage to the electrical components.
•
The electrical components must not be cleaned with a water jet, a high pressure cleaner
or any other similar device! Clean only with a moist cloth!
•
If you suspect that water or any other form of moisture has penetrated into the electrical
components, unplug the power pack immediately and do not plug it back into the socket.
Label the bed clearly as “Out of Order” and take it out of service. Have it inspected by a
qualified electrician.
•
Failure to follow these safety instructions could result in considerable damage to the bed
and its electrical equipment and lead to subsequent malfunctions!
Observe the following recommendations to ensure the bed remains fit for use for as long as
possible:
