What to do if my BW Technologies GasAlertMax detector alarms immediately?

  If your BW Technologies Accessories detector alarms immediately upon turning on, several factors could be at play. If you're using a new sensor, allow it 5 minutes to stabilize; for a used sensor, wait 60 seconds. A low battery could also be the cause, in which case, replace the battery. Alternatively, the sensor itself may be triggering the alarm, necessitating a sensor replacement. Finally, check the sampling hose for obstructions; if clear, clean or replace the pump filter. If the issue persists, further guidance can be found in the Pump Alarm section.
