Theuntreated water ows through the untreated
waterinletintothelterandtherefromtheinside
throughthelterelementtothecleanwateroutlet.
Impurities >90 µm are trapped on the inside of the
lter cloth. Depending on their weight and size,
these particles fall directly into the lower section of
thelterelementortheltercloth.Thelterelement
can be cleaned by backwashing at regular intervals.
Backwashing is carried out manually according to
the eective principle of backwashing by suction
(suction-backwashsystem).Theltrationprocess
continues uninterruptedly even during backwashing,
asapprox.90%of theltersurfaceis constantly
availableforltering(nonstopltration).

Observe local installation regulations, general
guidelines and technical data.
Theremustbeaushofatleast3.5m

per hour for
backwashing, or a pressure of at least 2 bar during
backwashingbehindthelter.
Aconnectiontothesewagesystem(drainage)of
min. DN 50 must be available.
The installation site must be protected against frost
andmustguaranteetheprotectionofthelterfrom
solvent vapours, fuel oil, lees, chemicals of all types,
UVradiationandheatsourcesover40ºC.
Keep plastic parts free from oil and grease, solvents
and acids as well as basic cleaners. After hard
collisions and impacts (e.g. with unsuitable tools,
fallsontostoneoor,etc.) a plasticpartmustbe
replaced, even if there is no visible damage (danger
ofbursting).Avoidextremepressureblows.

The product is used for ltration of drinking and
industrial water to protect the water mains and the
connected ttings,equipment, machinery,tanks,
boilers and production facilities from malfunction
and corrosion damage caused by foreign particles.
Theproductcanalsobeusedforltrationofwell,
process, boiler feed, cooling and air conditioning
water. In these cases, advice must be obtained
from a specialist.
The product is unsuitable for oils, greases, solvents,
soaps and other lubricating media. Water-soluble
substancesalsocannotbeseparatedo.
The intended use presupposes that the lter is
installed, operated and maintained according to the
instructions and regulations of this documentation.

Using spare parts and consumables not approved

or circumvents the same, or if the customer does
not follow the instructions in this operating manual
or on the system.

included with delivery. These are considered part
of this documentation and must not be changed
or removed.
