Checklterandushingwaterpipetomakesure

If no sewage connection is available, a collecting
basin(approx.10litres)mustbeprovided.
Pullcoverplate(8)downandcheckwhetherthe
safety stop valve (7) is open (if necessary set
groovetoverticalpositionusingscrewdriver).The
stop valve remains open at all times. Slide cover
plate back upwards.
Slowly open the stop valves before and after the
lter.Deaeratethepipeworkatthenextbleedpoint
afterthelter.
Checkthesealsoftheinstallationandthelter.
Thelterisnowreadytouse.
 
A backwash should be carried out if the water
pressure drops as a result of increasing levels of
dirtinthelterelement,andinanycaseatleast
every 2 months.
Asa reminder thenext backwashcan beset on
thedatering(5).
We recommend carrying out a backwash once a
month,toavoidimpuritiessettlingontheltercloth
(ormorefrequentlyforhigherlevelsofdirt).

1.Turncrank(3).
2.Turnrotatingknob(2)approx.4-5timescounter-
clockwise.
3. Immediately turn in opposite direction until it
stops. The process can be repeated for high
levels of dirt.
