Overview
The E7 Line Extenders (E7 and E629) are broadband line extenders for use in broadband systems.
■ Single output, low-gain E7 Line Extenders designed to operate between cascaded trunk
amplifiers:
– E70C
– E71C
■ Single output, high-gain E7 Line Extenders designed to extend the distribution reach:
– E629
–E72
– E73C (117V
AC power supply)
■ 862MHz E7 Line Extender with an integrated power supply (IPS) designed to upgrade your
existing 750 MHz line extenders to 862 MHz units:
–E75
■ 862MHz E7 Line Extender with a 117VAC power supply and detachable AC power cord
designed to operate in closed environments such as apartment buildings:
–E77

Various E7 Line Extender model options are detailed in Table 1.1 on page 1-4. Depending on the

are provided in Appendix A. E7 Line Extender assemblies are illustrated in Figures 2.1 through 2.5.
