Setup
Step 9: Prime the Fluid Systems (Optional)
To prime the IV fluid system:
a. Locate the IV FILL/DRAIN port under the skin flap on the left side of the
manikin. Connect the long tubing end of the IV stopcock assembly to the
IV FILL/DRAIN port.

b. Prime the IV tubing to the red-colored distilled water bag and close clamp.
c. Connect tubing to the distal port of the stopcock and turn the stopcock
lever so it is pointing towards the red-colored IV bag and then open the
clamp on the IV tubing.

d. Connect the empty 30 ml syringe to the remaining port on the stopcock.
Flashing Red Battery level is low.
Blue Unit is on and receiving signal from manikin.
