How to Adjust Seat
1. Pull the seat hardness-adjusting lever up and
to right or left to obtain proper hardness.
2. After obtaining the proper hardness, return the
lever to the original position and fix it securely.

Adjustment of seat hardness
1. Pull up the seat longitudinal position-adjusting
lever and slide the seat forward and backward
to obtain proper seat position.
2. After obtaining the proper seat position, return
the lever to the original position and fix it
securely.

* Perform seat adjustments while not sitting in
seat.
NOTE
Parking brake lock lever

1. Fully stop the machine.
2. Depress the foot brake pedal and lock the
pedal, using the parking brake lock lever.
Explanation of Safety Interlock
The engine can be started only under the following conditions, because the machine is
equipped with a safety interlock.
* Cutting blade clutch ........ ”OFF”
* Accelerator lever .............. ”NEUTRAL”
* Brake pedal ...................... Depressed state
* Seat ................................... Operator seated
Under the following condition, the engine stops automatically.
* Seat ................................... Operator leaves seat
