Operation 6
* When loading and unloading the machine onto or off a truck, follow these
procedures:
* Keep people away from the machine, truck, and running boards while loading
or unloading the machine.
* Do not turn on the running boards. The machine may drop off the running
boards.
* Drive slowly up or down the running boards.
* Beware of tipping when machine crosses from running boards into truck bed.
1. Use running boards with enough strength to hold both machine and driver's weight, each
board’s width at least twice the width of machines tire width, length more than three times
longer than truck loading body height, and abrasive surface for traction. Place the boards
as shown below so that the boards will not shift positions when the machine rides on
them.
2. Securely hook the running boards to truck so boards are flush with truck's loading bed.
