EMC Directive 2014/30/EC of the European Parliament and of the Coun-
cil of 26 February 2014 on the harmonisation of the laws of the Member
States relating to electromagnetic compatibility (recast) (all languages),
aligned to the New Legislative Framework, will be applicable from 20
April 2016.
The Directive 2006/95/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council
of 12 December 2006 on the harmonisation of the laws of Member States
relating to electrical equipment designed for use within certain voltage
limits (codied version) was published in the OJEU L 374 of 27.12.2006,
p. 10-19. It entered into force on the 20th day following that of its publica-
tion, i.e. on 16 January 2007. The old Directive 73/23/EEC was repealed
on the same date.
